Now that we know Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee to challenge President Obama, Iíve been giving some thought to Romneyís chances of winning. The more Iíve been thinking about it, the more encouraged Iím becoming. Letís consider who voted for Obama in 2008 and why. The left wing and socialists voted for Obama and certainly will again. There were also a large group of independent voters who wanted to be part of making history. Yes, President Obama made history by being the most left wing and inexperienced candidate in our nationís history. And yes, he also made history because he is black. Those who voted for him for either reason donít have to do that again to make history. They have also experienced the results of his socialist agenda and will hopefully think twice before voting to continue down that road. Therefore, I am hypothesizing that many 2008 Obama voters will either vote for Romney in 2012 or not vote at all. Iím hoping history gets repeated by sending President Obama the way of Jimmy Carter.

Becker for the 65th State Representative District
The election will be November 6th. Iíve raised over $34,000 and expanded my donor base to more than 335 people in six different states! Donation size has ranged from $1 to $1,000 and has averaged $57. Nearly all contributions have been from individuals only. You could donate for FREE! You may know that a $50 per taxpayer dollar-for-dollar tax CREDIT (It is $100 on a joint return.) is available every year. The ďOhio political contributions creditĒ is on line 55 of your Ohio IT 1040. Simply claim it on your state of Ohio tax return and get your money back. Contributions to candidates for State Representative (and other "state offices") qualify for this credit. That is why you will be able to help me, to help you, and have it cost you nothing.
