Dear Editor:
President Clinton recently proposed an increase in the federal minimum wage law to $5.25 per hour. I’m glad that he has brought this unconstitutional business and job stifling regulation to the attention of the public.
Hopefully, the new congress will eliminate this unfunded federal mandate. This is clearly a domestic issue which falls under the domain of the states per the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Let each state individually decide if they want any minimum wage regulation and what it should be.
